Some people don't think Dice-K is having a good year (or a great one) primarily because of his wildness, but consider his ERA with the bases loaded. You want to know what it is? 0.00 Also consider his opponents batting average with men in scoring position. You want to know what this is, too? 1.43 His regular season ERA is 2.77, and he's 15-2! Maybe 16-2 after this afternoon's game. Who knows?
The only problem is Dice-K's innings pitched. He averages 6 innings per game while Jon Lester averages 7 and 1/3. A few more innings pitched wouldn't hurt Dice-K. It's like he's walking two in a row and hitting a guy just for the fun of it.

I found the stat of his ERA of 0.00 with bases loaded interesting and surprising.
The Sox will need more solid innings from him when it is playoff time.
